I Got All Me Classes Figured Out

Here be my classes for this semester:

Geology- And not just looking at maps. We talk about history and the way the landscape has affected it, and the relations with politics and people. We get to go walk around the town 2 times, and the professor is young and cool. He asked all of us our last names to analyze our heritage. No final on this one, so everything is done in march.

Celtic Civilization- This one is gonna be boring. The prof is nice, but drones on about stuff we already know/do not care about. It seems like it is going to be mainly about how irish celts interacted with scottish celts. Meh.

Trad & Blues- The relationships betweeen these two awesome styles of music. gonna be awesome.

Folklore- The importance of folklore. The prof is a whimsical, absentminded lady that goes off on tangents. Reminds me of a certain Phil Byrne.

Philosophy- Class about how to solve world poverty, where the only right answer is probably gonna be communism. I better gear up for that essay right away, cause this class looks like it may be tough.

Button Accordion and Tin Whistle- I am most excited for these music lessons! I love trad music so much, and i have since like 3 years ago. What happens if i like it so much that i never want to leave Ireland? Well, I realized recently that you take for granted what you are used to. If i were to live permanently in Ireland or any other place, it would become the norm after a while. Like that riverboat story from Mark Twain, once you study and get used to something, it loses its magic. Don't worry folks, i won't be abandoning the good old USA.
